Working alongside the General Manager, you'll help oversee daily operations, support multiple departments, lead team members, and ensure every customer receives exceptional service.This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on business performance while developing your leadership skills in a growing, customer‑focused organization. You'll be involved in all aspects of the business—including sales, rentals, parts, service, and store operations—making each day both rewarding and dynamic.What You'll Do Leadership & Store Operations Partner with the General Manager to oversee day‑to‑day dealership operations and ensure the store runs efficiently and professionally.Assist with employee leadership, coaching, and team development.Support departmental collaboration and help drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Promote a safe, organized, and customer‑focused work environment.Customer Experience Support customers with equipment questions, pricing, availability, and product recommendations.Monitor customer service levels and proactively resolve customer concerns.Help ensure every customer interaction reflects the high standards of Routh Sales & Rentals.Assist with customer follow‑up and relationship‑building activities.Departmental Support Provide operational support to sales, rentals, parts, and service departments.Help ensure company processes are followed consistently across all areas of the business.Assist with rental agreements, equipment check‑in/check‑out procedures, and equipment readiness.Collaborate with department leaders to improve communication, efficiency, and workflow.Team Development & Training Train, coach, and support team members to achieve individual and team goals.Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.Encourage professional growth and continuous learning across departments.Equipment & Facility Support Assist with inventory management, equipment presentation, and overall store appearance.Support customer demonstrations, equipment walkarounds, and loading assistance when needed.Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional dealership environment.What We're Looking For Previous management, assistant management, supervisor, or leadership experience required.Experience in equipment sales, rentals, construction equipment, agriculture, tractors, lawn and garden equipment, or outdoor power equipment preferred.Strong customer service, communication, and relationship‑building skills.Proven ability to lead, motivate, and hold team members accountable.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.Comfortable using business software and point‑of‑sale systems.Willingness to learn new products, equipment, and dealership processes.Valid driver's license required.Physical Requirements Ability to work in both office and outdoor environments.Frequent standing, walking, bending, and movement throughout the dealership.Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to safely navigate around equipment, trailers, and service areas.Willingness to assist with hands‑on operational activities when needed.Ready to Lead and Make an Impact?
