Your Role:

You will serve as a key technical and commercial contributor within the DxRM Diagnostics & Regulated Materials organization, taking global ownership of the blood typing and antibody portfolios. Reporting to the Head of DxRM Sales Specialists, you will drive adoption of DxRM's blood typing reagents, antibody raw materials, and custom antibody solutions across IVD manufacturers and CMO customers, while leading new business development, growing portfolio revenue, retaining strategic accounts, and stewarding long-cycle programs from feasibility to commercial supply. As the global subject-matter authority for blood typing and antibody technologies, you will shape and execute the go-to-market strategy in close collaboration with regional Sales teams, Product Management, and Marketing, ensuring our offerings are positioned as the partner of choice for customers developing, scaling, or supplying blood typing systems, diagnostic kits, and antibody-based raw materials. Your engagement will span R&D, Assay Development, Quality, Regulatory, and Commercial, delivering consultative guidance on blood group serology, ABO/RhD and extended typing systems, antibody selection and characterization, and translating complex scientific and regulatory requirements into concrete commercial proposals and supply agreements, all while maintaining pipeline transparency through disciplined SFDC usage and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will proactively drive adoption of DxRM blood typing reagents and antibody products - including custom, OEM, and bulk - at IVD manufacturers, instrument integrators, blood grouping kit developers, and regulated reagent CMOs through consultative, solution-focused engagement. You will engage with R&D, Assay Development, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Operations stakeholders at customer organizations to define technical requirements, identify programmatic risks, and propose technically sound and commercially viable solutions.
  • You will provide authoritative technical guidance on blood group serology and immunohematology, including ABO, RhD, extended Rh, Kell, Kidd, Duffy, and MNS systems, as well as antibody selection and specificity. You will support feasibility assessments, proof-of-concept studies, and pre-sales technical evaluation activities, coordinating with internal technical, quality, and supply chain resources to ensure customer-ready responses. You will develop and deliver high-impact technical presentations, seminars, product demonstrations, and training for customers, conference audiences, and internal Sales colleagues to build awareness and scientific credibility for DxRM's portfolio.
  • You will maintain high-quality SFDC records, including opportunity details, stage progression, forecasts, customer interaction logs, and portfolio status updates, in alignment with global and regional pipeline management expectations. Working closely with regional Account Managers and Sales leaders, you will build account plans, prioritize high-value opportunities, and support contract, pricing, and custom supply agreement negotiations for blood typing and antibody portfolio.
  • Acting as a primary interface between customers and internal functions - including Product Management, Marketing, Quality/Regulatory, and Supply Chain - you will communicate portfolio requirements, timelines, regulatory constraints, and risk factors for custom projects. You will provide structured feedback to Product Management and Marketing on portfolio gaps, competitive dynamics, emerging technologies such as next-generation blood typing automation and monoclonal antibody platforms, and evolving customer and regulatory needs to inform roadmap decisions and value proposition development.
  • You will support implementation and technology transfer activities for successful commercial achievement, helping ensure a smooth transition from development or qualification through to routine regulated supply. You will monitor and analyze the competitive landscape across blood typing reagents, antibody raw materials, and IVD contract development, identifying strategic threats and opportunities to inform portfolio and commercial strategy. You will also contribute to the harmonization of customer engagement frameworks, scientific communication standards, and best practices across regions, in alignment with direction from the Head of DxRM Sales Specialists.

  • Deep, demonstrable expertise in blood group serology, including ABO, RhD, and extended antigen typing systems, antibody identification, and the technical principles underpinning blood typing reagent design and performance.
  • Candidates must have experience in technical or commercially oriented roles supporting IVD/diagnostic reagent customers, OEM reagent manufacturers, blood typing instrument companies, or regulated CMO customers, along with a proven ability to engage credibly and consultatively with laboratory directors, transfusion medicine specialists, reagent development scientists, and commercial and operations stakeholders at customer organizations.
