Software Developer (.NET)

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain modern applications and integrations using Microsoft and Azure technologies
  • Collaborate with architects, team leads, and stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives
  • Build and enhance cloud-native, event-driven systems using Azure Functions, Service Bus, and related patterns
  • Lead configuration and integration of enterprise platforms (Duck Creek, Salesforce, ServiceNow)
  • Design and implement APIs that meet enterprise standards for scalability, reuse, and security
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across modern and legacy systems
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions
  • Mentor developers and promote best practices across the team
  • Support CI/CD, DevOps, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with QA, vendors, and integration partners to deliver seamless solutions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 7+ years of relevant IT experience; insurance (P&C) or financial services experience preferred
  • Strong expertise in C#, .NET (Blazor/Razor, Entity Framework), SQL, MVC, Web API, and Azure Functions
  • Experience designing REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory, Blob Storage, and cloud-native architectures
  • Experience with Duck Creek (Billing, Policy, Claims, Clarity) strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices
  • Advanced database skills (SQL, Oracle, DB2)
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide on-call production support
