STS Technical Services is hiring experienced Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanics to join the team at Cobalt, a specialized aircraft component MRO facility located in Hot Springs, Arkansas. This is a hands-on role supporting structural repairs on high-value aircraft components with steady demand and overtime opportunities.

Position Summary
This role involves the structural repair and restoration of aircraft components using aluminum, composites, and other aircraft-grade materials. You will work in a dedicated back-shop environment alongside a team of professionals who are passionate about aviation and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural repairs on aircraft components using approved techniques
- Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble parts in accordance with FAA and OEM specifications
- Use standard and specialized sheet metal tools, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Document repairs accurately and legibly for traceability
- Follow all safety and quality control procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of back-shop sheet metal repair experience
- Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, SRMs, and technical manuals
- Experience working with cowlings, leading edges, gear doors, and control surfaces
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must provide own tools
