Work Arrangements: 2 pm to 10 pm and weekends as needed to support operations
In this role you will:
Lead the sanitation team to ensure cleanliness and safety of the facility
Participate in cleaning activities
Develop and implement sanitation procedures that comply with industry and regulatory standards
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas that need cleaning and maintenance.
Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Train and educate sanitation team on proper procedures and safety protocols
Collaborate with departments to ensure sanitation procedures do not interfere with production schedules
Document and maintain records of sanitation procedures and inspections. Conduct equipment inspections after sanitors have completed cleaning tasks and provide feedback to sanitors and the bakery
Investigate and resolve any sanitation related complaints or issues
Conduct ATP testing on cleaned surfaces
What we are looking for:
Minimum Requirements:
Previous manufacturing experience required
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
Previous safety training required.
Troubleshooting experience or mechanical aptitude required.
Experience assisting with change overs preferred.
Experience working in a team-oriented environment preferred.
At least two years of sanitation experience or a related field
Knowledge of sanitation regulations and procedures
Ability to develop and implement sanitation programs and protocols
Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team
Work Environment:
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment and manufacturing sites can be loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
