Job Description
Responsibilites
•Receive and accession samples in LIMS system
•Pull and organize samples for analysis
•Dispose, return, and ship samples to long term storage
•Maintain traceability and security of samples within LIMS and freezers
•Perform freezer and other equipment maintenance procedures
•Perform sample discrepancy resolution and communicate with clients/sites
•Record tasks in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
•Apply regulatory requirements; HIPAA, GLP, GCP, 21CFR Part 11
•Participate in department overview for client audits and tours
•Follow applicable SOPs and procedural documents
•Ensure lab area is clean and inspection ready at all times
•Performing occasional off-hours tasks as needed, in a non-restrictive capacity, to support emergency situations related to department responsibilities.
•Other tasks as assigned
Skills, Education & Qualifications
•HS Diploma or higher with 1-2 years Sample Management experience; all experiences will be evaluated
•Able to work in a regulated environment
•Able to work effectively and contribute within a team
•Able to work with computer systems; able to document clearly
