Job Title: Distribution Relay Ops Supervisor Work Place Flexibility: Hybrid Legal Entity: Entergy Arkansas, LLC *This is a hybrid position that may be filled at any of our Arkansas locations.* Job Summary/Purpose Responsible for the coordination and scheduling of distribution device settings and SCADA/DMScommissioning. Provides technical and administrative oversight and support for the DA Field Support team.Requires strong working relationship with statewide region offices, including engineering and line networks. Responsible for field data integrity and documentation after devices have been programmed andcommissionedSupervises and coordinates activities of staff monitoring workload on a daily and weekly basis and shiftresources as needed to meet commitments and DA reliability initiatives and other associated programs Responsible for directing restoration workers for storm events both regular and after hoursCoordinates the assembly and when necessary lead of out of town storm response teamsResponsible for managing distribution line contractors supporting distribution automation functions. Perform as or identify a subject matter expert as needed to facilitate the timely completion of projects andtasksProvide developmental opportunities for employees through training opportunities, both in house andexternal. Provide oversight, support, and direction to employees to ensure the work management process isproperly followed i.e. work identification, work prioritization, and scheduling. Work closely with management, engineering, and DA Field Support Specialists to ensure field supportprocesses are defined, communicated, and properly implemented. Minimum Requirements Minimum education required of the position Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent work experience Minimum experience required of the position 5-7 Years relative work experience Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position Distribution line construction, operations and maintenance knowledge. Strong leadership, negotiations andcommunication skills. Working knowledge of safety rules, practices, and procedures. Computer skills with aworking knowledge of Distribution Applications. Knowledge of distribution SCADA applications and configuring andtroubleshooting distribution line devices. Experience training new employees and network crews. Ability to respondto local and out of town storm restoration activities during regular and after hours. Knowledge of distribution linematerials and management processes and environmental processes associated with handling oil filled equipmentor other environmentally sensitive areas. Knowledge of administering IBEW contracts. Ability to read andunderstand electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams, technical manuals and instruction books.
