**Job Description**

As a logistics warehouse team member at Ducommun, you will be instrumental in the on time delivery of a qualityproduct. You will have the opportunity to learn multiple logistics and warehouse functions and be an important part of the performance center team.

You will be supporting the common Ducommun goals of making our customers happy or happier while ensuring a quality product. The goal of the logistics warehouse team member is to maintain the flow of material from receiving to storage and from production to shipping. Ultimately, ensuring the customer receives the quality product that they ordered.

Our logistics warehouse team members take great care and pride in the material handling that goes into each of our products. They prepare and package product to ship per specifications. They pack per PEI to ensure product safety during shipment. They ensure accurate documentation for shipping programs such as UPS World Ship and FedEx Ship. The logistics warehouse team member enters and compares data as necessary to our ERP system, BAAN. They deliver product pulls to the line, perform daily cycle counting of material and perform bin counts to ensure inventory accuracy. They ensure that processes such as the shelf life material management and first in and first out system are utilized. They receive in all incoming material, opening packages and crates, checking for visible damage and that all product is accounted for according to the documentation. They deliver goods to internal customers. (This is 85% of their time.) During the course of their work, logistics warehouse team members may be required to operate a forklift, hand truck or drive a company vehicle. An acceptable Motor Vehicle Report is required. Daily cleaning of work area is required. (10% of time). Other duties as assigned including leading projects and participation in Company committees is required (5% of time).

In addition, as a logistics warehouse team member you will be working with shipping, receiving and stockroom. You will be working cross functionally with operations and quality. Great team work and positive attitudes are required! Our logistics warehouse team members demonstrate strong work ethics, great critical thinking skills and a "can do" attitude. They expect and are willing to work overtime as needed.

**$1.50/hour increase to the hourly rate as a shift premium!**

**Skills & Qualifications**

At this location, we produce quality integrated electronics primarily for the military. Related experience is a plus! Prior experience in shipping, receiving or stock room would be great experience. General requirements of all team members at this location are as follows: must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or GED, must meet ITAR requirements of being a US Person, successfully pass the background and drug screening processes.

The willingness and ability to obtain a forklift certification is required. Our ideal candidate will be very safety conscious.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to stand, walk, sit use hands for tasks that require dexterity and detailed requirements. They may occasionally lift twenty to fifty pounds. Appropriate PPE is required. On occasions, our logistics warehouse team members may be asked to travel to other locations to pick-up/deliver product.
